The Evelyn Estates team remotely manages the daily communications and tasks of the property and it's bookings, while we have a professional cleaning team on call for each unit after every guest.
While Evelyn Estates welcomes many qualified guests travelling for different reasons, the majority of our guests are travelling professionals in need of short term housing, e.g., travelling nurses or doctors. Guests may stay anywhere from 2-180 nights, but the average is around 4-5 nights per stay.
Every guest is screened before their booking is completed. The third party we use to take bookings verifies the guest's government ID, sends it to approved background check providers, and check's the persons identity against public records.
Evelyn Estates uses a combination of approved hardware such as keypad door locks, sound monitors, and cameras to ensure the safety of guests and protection of property while not invading privacy of guests. Evelyn Estates also has insurance for expenses outside of what the owner would typically cover regarding maintenance/repairs if damage were caused by a guest of Evelyn Estates. As the tenant with standard tenant obligations, Evelyn Estates will constantly be monitoring and upkeeping the standards held for us under our corporate lease.
There are no additional responsibilities on the owner to lease to Evelyn Estates versus any other individual renter. Evelyn Estates will be the tenant/lessee, and is therefore responsible for the tenants obligations; vice versa the owner is under the standard obligations of the lessor, and providing for Evelyn Estates the same as any tenant. Roles and expectations will clearly be laid out in the corporate lease we provide.
